Hi,
I live in Reedsport and every May we have a wine tour and all proceeds go to Great Afternoons, our afterschool program. We have been going to the Umpqua Valley wineries each year. We have 2 buses, our bus and a bus from Florence. The Florence bus is much like ours; all their proceeds go to the Florence Boys and Girls Club.

This year we are hoping to visit wineries in your area. Is this something you would consider hosting?

Our friends from Eugene took us to your winery for wine tasting and a picnic lunch overlooking that fantastic view. We live in Tucson, AZ in the Winter and Black Butte Ranch, OR in the summer and have visited several wineries in this area, including Portland area, but yours was the experience we won't easily forget thanks to the young man (didn't get his name) who served us. There were four of us and two others joined us later, and he was amazing with his knowledge of your wines and the winery. Have never had such treatment and gained such knowleddge about wines at a winery before. He said he had only been with you a year. You need to hang on to him as he is a great asset to your business. And...every wine we tasted and purchsed is absoulately outstanding.

Last night we had your newly released Pinot Gris with our dinner which consist of chicken as the main course. It was excellent! Clear in color, aromas of lemon peel, Asian pears & cotton candy, the mouth feel was soft on the mid-palate yet had good acidity & a long crisp finish. Flavors of green apple, honey, melon & a hint of spice on the back of the palate. Every component of this Pinot Gris is perfectly constructed. I highly recommend this Pinot Gris if you like one that is not too sweet or too dry, crisp and displays floral, fruity characteristics!
Cheers,

My wife and I were at the new tasting room at the end of August, on vacation getting out of the heat in Oklahoma. What a view!!! I love the Petite Sirah, '08 Pinot Noir. Sherry's was the Pinot Gris.
We stopped by for a tasting maybe 15 min. Erin is a real person, we loved it there and stayed too long. We had several tastings bought some cheese, salami, and some wonderful bread. We had to use our own knife, what's up with that? Great view, good wine, even better people!
You guys work hard, keep making good wine, be yourselves, and keep the faith.
Weddings, parties, Vacations. This is the second best veiw of any we have seen in over 100 wineries, from Tumecula in southern Cal. to Napa, in Oregon, Washington, and 5 other states.
We will see ya next year. Thanks so much! Matt Murphy

Hey guys,

I'm so excited and awed that you made all of this happen! I remember when the vineyard idea was just a twinkle in your eye. Wish I could be there to support you on your opening day.... By the way, love the photo of Eve!
